Any creep or take-up in the trigger pull indicates that the sear may be under adjusted.

When I adjust a trigger, I cock the bolt, then apply a light forward pressure on the trigger lever with your finger while turning in the sear screw (the one in front of the trigger) slowly until it releases. Then back this screw off 1/8 turn at a time until the trigger is safe when operating deliberately.

As shown in the video, the trigger and the sear adjustment are on the same lever so any rearward pressure on the sear screw while making the adjustment is the same as pulling the trigger. This may cause the striker to release before being fully adjusted and show as take-up in the trigger pull.
